If you’ve taken the test from the British Council, you can log in to the Test Taker Portal. You’ll find the result thereby. You will find the ‘result’ menu at the top of the page. You can log in to the Test Taker Portal by entering your email and password, and find the result by clicking on the exam date you have sat for. Click here to log in to your Test Taker Portal.

On the other hand, if you have taken the test from IDP, click here and simply type your information here. You’ll get to see your result afterward.
How long the score is valid?
Your IELTS score is valid for 2 years.
How many days you have to wait for the result?
For paper-based IELTS, you will find the result within 13 calendar days from your test date. On the other hand, if you have appeared for the Computer-Delivered IELTS test, you will get the result after 3-5 days after the test date.
What to do if you are not satisfied with the result?
You can apply for rechecking your script. You have to apply for Enquiry on Result. You can do it through your Test Taker Portal. You need to pay BDT 8000 for this Enquiry on Result application. But the best thing is the British Council will give you a refund if your result changes. You’ll find the reviewed result within 2 to 21 days. By contrast, you have to pay BDT 10,500 for a remark application. And you have to wait for the same amount of time. Your script will be checked by an experienced IELTS examiner who is not aware of the awarded marks that you got the first time. If your result is changed, you’ll get a new Test Report Form.
What to do to send Electronic Test Report Form (ETRF)?
You can send an electronic copy of your result to universities. For that, you can apply through the Test Taker Portal. Within 15 days, the exam team will send your ETRF to the applied institutions.
