We usually provide a lot of homework, which later are checked by our faculty members. One-on-one session is also offered to discuss your performance in mock test. The instructors are experienced and you can use their feedback to improve your weak areas.

BARC Uttara and Mirpur campuses are authorized by IDP and only the IELTS candidates have access to it.

We do not guarantee your band score either in IELTS or in mock. Your hard work is your guarantee to secure a good band.

First of all, BARC do not compromise with the quality of instructors and we have full-time dedicated qualified faculty. Note that our Trainers follow strict assessment guidelines outlined by IELTS. They have years of experience teaching IELTS to all age groups and have produced numerous top grades.

Sometimes we do provide the free session. Just follow our Facebook page and you will be notified as soon as we announce a free class.

BARC has two campuses. One in Uttara and the other in Mirpur.

We do not have any programme for the children for the time being, we may offer some basic English language courses for school children.

No, we do not process visa.

Books or study materials are available only for the BARC students.

Our classrooms are approved by IDP. We follow IDP compliance for conducting class and exam.

We allow a maximum of 25 students in one session.

In case of a future lockdown, we would wait for a certain period of time. However, if lockdown lingers, we might go for the online session. We will provide an e-Learning Platform that can be a complete solution.

Our preferred online platforms are ZOOM or Google Meet. We will provide a complete e-Learning Platform developed by our in-house IT Team and Content Developers Team. Our online classes are very much like a real-life classroom. The only difference is you do it from your home instead of coming to BARC. It’s a two-way communication where both teachers and students interact with each other.

We do not provide any recorded session as it does not allow much room for students to interact with the instructor.

In case you miss an online class, we would request you to collect information regarding the lesson you have missed and get back to us. We will try to connect you with the instructor.

Yes, we are providing spoken classes at the moment.

We provide separate session for spoken for IELTS in our online class. Additionally, we conduct an online language club every week.

Our online classes are effective and have earned good bands like 6+ and 7+ during COVID 19. Online classes are still open for you if you do not prefer face-to-face mode.

We do not have any online Foundation course at the moment

Yes. We have a full-featured online Assessment testing system.

IELTS is a time-bound exam. Knowledge of time management is essential for every candidate. We prefer our students stick to the ‘time bound’ factor so that they are at pace with IELTS.

We are not the British Council. We are British American Resource Center and we are affiliated with British Council and partner for programs like Aptis. We are also approved by the British Council as their test venue.

IDP and British Council are two different entities and co-owners of IELTS along with Cambridge English Language Assessment. This means they are all one company. There is no difference between taking IELTS at IDP or in British Council. The question papers, certification, marking criteria are the same all over the world.

You get your Test Report 13 days after you finish the main Exam. This result is published online.

Hard copy of your Test Report Form (TRF) will be mailed to you within 15 days from your exam.

It’s not in our policy to offer free mock. Candidate must pay the mock fee before taking one.

According to our office policy, IELTS candidates must produce an original passport. If it’s needed to change some information during registration, we usually verify it with your passport and correct it accordingly.

You can challenge your band score which is known as an Enquiry on Results, at your test centre within six weeks of the test date. You must pay an enquiry fee of Tk. 10500/- which will be fully refunded if your band score changes. Note that IELTS examiners and markers follow strict assessment guidelines and are regularly monitored

It’s not our policy to hand over any test papers to anyone.

The paper based IELTS is the conventional way of using pen and papers.

The CD IELTS is different because you use the computer to take the exam. No pen and paper is used here.

While there is no change in the content, format or level of difficulty and scoring,

IELTS for UKVI simply follows certain extra security protocols to ensure the authenticity of the exam taker. Also, your Test Report Form or TRF may also look slightly different from the regular IELTS one

The exam venue is a restricted area and only the IELTS candidates may have a look right before the exam. However, our BARC students can also see the exam venue.
