The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) measures the language proficiency of people who want to study or work where English is used as a language of communication. It uses a nine-band scale to clearly identify levels of proficiency, from non-user (band score 1) through to expert (band score 9). There are basically two type of test version 1. Academic 2. General Training These two parts are different in Reading and Writing module. Those who are interested for higher studies in abroad needs to appear Academic IELTS. General Training is for immigration purpose. In this B2 level a student will be at ease with English. They understand all conversations, they can attend a conference and contribute to it and take part in meetings at work. In this level students English level can negotiate with native speakers. B2 level English can be referred to daily usage like - watching a film without subtitles and understanding the scenes, reading the newspaper, defending opinions, expressing hypotheses, writing a report or essay, creating a logical argument, giving a presentation, reading a short modern prose text and so on.
